Kennewick School District's Transportation Department is committed to the safety of our students and staff. We strive to provide safe, reliable and efficient transportation services for our students while maintaining the highest possible operating standards and providing competent and well-trained staff.

- 105 bus drivers and 26 bus attendants

- More than 1.1 million miles driven each year
- More than 1,225 extra-curricular trips made each year (sporting events, etc.)
Kennewick School District's Maintenance Department has received numerous safety awards from the Washington State Patrol, having passed their twice yearly inspection for the past 15 years. Twice per year, drivers perform emergency evacuation drills with students. Drivers are required to inspect their bus prior to the start of every shift. Bus Rule cards are sent home during the first week of school to be signed by all student riders' parents or guardians.
