Brian Brooks

Legislative Rep - Position 5


Brian Brooks was appointed to the board in August of 2011, and then elected to position 5 in November of 2011. His current term ends Dec. 31, 2019.

Brian ran for a position on the school board because he wanted to give back to the community. He is enthusiastic about helping children succeed in school and prepare for success in life.

“My goal is to listen carefully to all parties, study the issues carefully and allocate funds wisely to provide the best education possible for our children.”

Brian is a physical therapist who earned a bacehlor's degree in 1990 from Brigham Young University, and then a master's degree in physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1993. He currently serves on his company’s board of directors as treasurer and is a member of the Pasco Chamber of Commerce. 

Brian and his wife, Julene, have lived in Kennewick for the past 18 years and have raised their four children here. He has volunteered in Kennewick schools, coached many youth sports teams and served as a volunteer Boy Scout leader.
