Celebrating Our Seniors: Jessica Churchill

Senior Jessica Churchill started performing as a singer when she was three but it wasn't until she started attending Southridge High School that she began acting as well.

"My older brother went to Southridge and I'd come to his plays and I couldn't wait to get into it," she says.

Along with being involved in Drama Club, she's participated in the school's chamber, Broadway and jazz choirs and sung with the school's jazz band.

"I suffer from anxiety and depression so it all gives me an outlet. It helps me start each day on the right note," Jessica says.

Now she plans to study music for secondary education and minor in theater at Northwest University in Kirkland. Her goal? To become a teacher and inspire students to express themselves as her teachers have for her.
