Southridge senior named student representative to school board

Southridge High School senior Brianna Lynch will be the student representative to the Kennewick School Board for the 2017-18 school year.

Brianna is a non-voting member of the board but will be a resource to board members on student reaction and perspectives on board policy and student issues.

Brianna is Southridge’s current Associated Student Body President and has held student leadership positions at her school since her freshman year. She also participates in the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS); Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Team Read and other activities.

She has shown interest in the health care industry, working as a clerk for Swift Rehabilitation and attending the National Student Leadership Conference on Medicine and Health Care in August 2016.

Brianna says she is committed to being a force for change in her community and as a student representative to the board says she feels as though she can make her vision a reality.
