Thanks For The Levy Love Kennewick

Kennewick School District asked voters to decide on two four-year levies in a Feb. 13 special election.

The Educational Programs Levy is passing with 64.27% approval. The Technology Levy is passing with 63.66% approval.

The Educational Programs Levy replaces the Maintenance & Operations Levy expiring at the end of 2018 and supports programs and services not paid for by basic education funding from the state.

The new Technology Levy will allow the district to pair every student with a computer device by 2023, upgrade technology infrastructure in schools, and train teachers on how to integrate the new technology into their lessons. Learn more about the levies.

Results from the election will be certified by the Benton County Auditor's Office on Feb. 23.

Thank you, voters, for supporting Kennewick schools.
