A reminder to families that all Kennewick School District schools, buildings, and administrative offices will be closed the afternoon of Friday May 25.  This is due to the budget decreases enacted by the Washington State Legislature, which impacted this school year. A reduction in the state teachers’ salary schedule, as well as reductions in pay for all other school support staff, prompted this action. There will be no work and no pay for staff.

 

The release times for May 25, 2012 are as follows:

Full Day Kindergarten and Grades 1-5 – 11:27 a.m.
Grades 6-8 – 10:40 a.m.
Grades 9-12 – 10:30 a.m.
