Schedule:
The A.M. Kindergarten class will begin at 8:35
and will be dismissed at 11:22. Wednesday’s
are early release, the class will begin at 8:35
and will be dismissed at 10:50.
Bus Information:
A note is required when a bus child is to be
picked up instead of riding the bus. The bus
driver requires a note when a child is to get
off at a stop other than his own. All kindergarten
children should wear bus tags for at least 6
weeks.
Absences:
It is school policy that a written note be returned
with a child following an absence or tardiness.
We stress the importance of regular attendance.
Writing Name:
Names are to be written with only the first
letter capitalized, and all other letters lower-case.
We feel it is important to get them started
correctly in all their writing. Enclosed is
a sheet showing the correct formation of a letter
which we will teach during the year.
Birthday Parties:
Since the kindergarten day is very short, we
ask that treats be limited to items which can
be passed out and taken home at the end of the
day.
Clothing: Clothing
should be appropriate for the weather; and it
should be remembered that we will often have
art projects which are messy. Label coats, boots,
sweatshirts, etc. Children should be able to
put on their own wraps.
