The Kennewick School District places great importance in reading to your child 20 minutes a day, so I feel this is the most important “homework” you can do with you child on a daily basis.

You can also check the newsletter that goes home every Friday for you child’s homework. There are suggested activities in the “Fun At Home” section of the newsletter that are meant for you to enjoy with your child. I do not require that this work be returned to school, but if your child wants to return the work to school for a pat on the back from the teacher, I’d be glad to do that!
