Directions
1. Select an event that would require a flyer
to advertise it.
- Party
- Social
- Sports Event
- Yard Sale
2. You must create a one-page flyer to place
around town or the school to invite people to attend. It should
include the following:
- Title (36 pt Arial Black bold centered)
- Date/Time (24 pt Arial centered)
- Graphic: Create a graphic with MS-Paint
related to your selected event:
- Size = 144-180 pixels X 144-180 pixels.
- Select a clipart from MS-Word Clipart.
- Message: Create your own message
- Put it in a text box (18 pt Arial
Narrow centered)
- Table: Create a table for time schedule,
(18 pt Arial Narrow centered)
- Created by: Your name, class, period,
date (12 pt Arial Narrow right justified)

When you think you are finished have a neighbor proof your
flyer before printing it.
4.
Once your neighbor and you have proof read your flyer and
are sure it is ready, print it.
Important: When printing
files be sure to check the "Properties" dialog box
and set for "Economode" to save ink.
After
you finish the flyer ask your instructor for the Flyer Challenge.
The Challenge is to be completed in one day without
help from fellow students or the instructor. |
