Taking the survey: collecting,
and recording data
- Pick ar partner to
work with.
- Decide on a topic
of interest to you (Favorite Music, Favorite Movies, Is
There Too Much Violence in the Media, Is Enough Being Done
About the Salmon Problem, etc.).
- Write down a minimum
of 6 questions you can ask about the topic.
- The questions must
be yes, no, no opinion type questions (Is there too much
violence on T.V., Should we increase the number of hatcheries
for endangered salmon, etc.)
- Draw a data table
to record student responses (see Fig. 1 at upper-right).
