Introduction

Orientation consists of five lessons:

  1. Orientation Notes: the Rules and Routines
  2. Ultrakey: daily entry task
  3. Saving Files: naming and saving your files
  4. Troubleshooting: basic problem solving
  5. Internet Safety: what can and cannot do

Each lesson has different requirments for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Be sure to read each Assignment Responsibility carefull.

Orientation Notes Setup

  • Your first assignment is to create a Word Document with notes related to orientation. Do the following...
    1. Start Word by clicking on the shortcut on the desktop of your computer
    2. Save the blank document as instructed.
    3. Create a heading with your name, date, and period aligned right, 12 pt Times New Roman
    4. Create a title, "Orientation Notes", centered, 18 pt Times New Roman, Bold
    5. Save your file.
