the Summer Technical Institute (STI) web site. STI is designed
to introduce 9th & 10th grade students to nontraditional
careers.
This
year these included Engineering, Material Science, Cottage
Industries, Fashion, Sports Medicine, Aquaculture, Floral
Arrangement, and others. Students traveled to Kamiakin,
Kennewick, Southridge, Horse Heaven Hills, and Columbia
Basin College for tours and activities related to these
career areas..
Our
web site, largely created by the students, documents the
events and gives the student perspective of their experiences.
