About Ms. Beardsley

 

 

Ms. Beardsley is a 7th grade block teacher here at HMS. She teaches 2 blocks of kids. Block includes 2-3 periods of reading, language arts, and social studies. This means that the students stay with her for all of these subjects. It's a great thing she loves to read because she teaches kids to love it too! This is her fifth year teaching at HMS. Eastern Washington University is where she received her degree from.

This creative educator is a funny, caring and 29 years old. She spent almost the first half of her life growing up in Rhode Island. HMS is where Ms. B actually attended the 8th grade when she moved to Washington State!

Anyone who knows her can tell you she is a huge fan of MAC make-up. She can talk for hours about colors and make-up artistry! Another favorite thing she loves is music. Reggae, rock, world music, R&B, and country are just a few genres of tunes she rocks out to. Kids are rewarded in class when she plays music for them to work to. Additionally, Heath bars are her favorite bribe. In addition to that treat, this fabulous teacher enjoys cooking for her friends and family. Family is incredibly important to her. She has 6 year old twin nieces that come in and help out in the classroom after their Kindergarten sessions are over.
