6th Grade Art
Students are taught the elements of art.
LINE, SHAPE, COLOR, TEXTURE, SPACE, FORM, and VALUE.
Some of the projects we do are Name Critters, color wheels, one-point perspective, and tessellation's.

7th Grade Art
We do a drawing unit from the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
Our Grid Enlargement of a Cartoon takes the most time, but is the most rewarding to the students.
Two-point perspective is one of our final projects.
8th Grade Art
We review the elements of art and learn the principles of art: contrast, unity, rhythm, pattern, and movement.
We do a variety of projects in 8th grade, depending on the interest of the students.
Some of the favorite projects of the students are Eraser Prints, Block Prints, Cartooning, Masks, Silk Screen, and Florescent Paintings.
