To improve safety, prevent items from being lost, and discourage theft the class will be separated into four“clean up” groups. Assignments will be rotated on a quarterly basis so that everyone participates equally.
How It Works
Group Assignment:
- There will be four groups of 3-4 people. The groups will be assigned an area to do everyday for one quarter. (see Clean Up Groups and Tasks at right)
- Groups will rotate assignments each quarter.
- Groups select their own members.
Penalties:
- Individual grades and team dismissal will be affected if students do not work as a team, pull their own weight, or have their assigned area cleaned up by the bell.
- Work not completed by previous periods should be reported to the instructor.
Tasks:

Everyone:
- All garbage needs to be picked up and put in the trash and recyclable paper put in the recycle bin.
- All worksheets and other papers for class need to be picked up around the room and put back neatly where they came from.
