Clean Up

Assignments

To improve safety, prevent items from being lost, and discourage theft the class will be separated into four“clean up” groups. Assignments will be rotated on a quarterly basis so that everyone participates equally.

Everyone:

Clean Up Wheel

Librarians

  • Books(A+, lab books, Reference books, Macromedia, etc.) in their proper place and in order.
  • Floppies, CDs, and DVDs.
  • All magazines and other resources.

Audio/Visual Techs:

Cameras
  • Inventory accessories
  • Place neatly in the correct cabinet.
  • Lens caps on.
  • Plugged in to the charger if the batteries are low.

PC Techs:

Workstations
  • Insure computers are logged off for periods 1-5 and turned off for period 6
  • For laptops: mice on top, and counted
Lab Stations:
    • Mice, keyboards, monitors on stands
    • anti-static mats in position or put away
Lab computers:
    • Placed neatly under lab station or back in the storage room neatly.
    • They should be sitting up right, side by side, and the front facing outwards.

Instrument Techs

  • Toolkits: Pput up where they belong with ALL tools put in their place neatly. Leave no tools sitting outside of their cases.
  • Anti-static wrist bands put away.
  • Test equipment and meters turned off and put in correct drawers.
  • Storage Room: Everything put away neatly, lights turned off, and the door locked by the end of the period.
