In our case, you have already started the Work Site Orientation by doing the assigned lessons for Orientation.
This is a district standardized form signed by the student, parents, Worksite Supervisor (teacher), and Work Based Coordinator (teacher).
The worksite learning plan is a written outline of the learning objectives and the process for evaluating the attainment of the learning objectives.

The education plan is developed for the individual student. Students are assisted in writing their plan by teachers, counselors, career center personnel and parents. The plan should include the following, beginning in 9th grade and extending through the first year after high school graduation:
- Identify occupational interests, aptitudes, and skills.
- Select a suitable career pathway.
- Connect career goals to post high school opportunities.
- Communicate career/education plan in a written document.
- Develop a student portfolio which contains the plan.
- Present the plan to an audience.

Within the educational plan, students should consider developing their own plan that defines their interests. This plan allows students to learn about all of the possibilities and opportunities available for them after high school. With a plan, students may take advantage of more opportunities while in high school. They may consider Running Start (attend college part of the high school day), Information Technology Certifications (like Microsoft Office or CompTIA A+ certifications), skills center programs, dual credit classes (a student would receive both high school and community college credits while in the high school) or get involved with student leadership activities.
