Intro
In this activity you will design and publish a Flash movie which can be sent to a family member or friend as a virtual Valentine.
As an alternative you may select a topic of interest and create a serious or humorous Flash animation providing information or making a point.
Objectives
The purpose of this lesson is for you to use the skills and knowledge developed in Studio 8, chapters 7 & 8. It will involve:
- Creating new layers in the timeline
- Inserting frames and keyframes
- Adding text and graphics
- Using Library items
- Importing graphics to the stage or library
- Converting objects to symbols
- Animate symbols in three different ways; motion tweening objects, tweening alpha of an object, and using actionscript
- Creating a button
- Interaction controled by with Actionscript
- Create and use a MovieClip

- Use Scenes to divide movie into parts
- Import sound
- stopallSounds Actionscript
- Create ActionScript calling a button rather than on a button
