Kamiakin High School , is a high school located in northwestern Kennewick, Washington. Kamiakin was founded in 1970 at 600 N Arthur Street in Kennewick, and went through a remodel in the early 2000s. It currently has an enrollment of about 1,700. The school is named after Kamiakin, a chief of the Yakama Tribe in the 1800s and a leader of the Native American side in the Yakima War.
The school's colors are scarlet and gold, and its teams are called "Braves". Kamiakin High is classified as a 3A school, and it competes in the hybrid 3A/4A Columbia Basin League.
