
LAN Information
These are official LAN party organized by the Kamiakin High School Computer Technology Club. A LAN party is an extra-curricular activity where students can use their networking and leadership skills to provide a gaming experience for others.
These event start at 9 a.m. and end around 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
They are located at Kamiakin in the Library.
Students from other Kennewick high schools may attend this event but they must fill out a Guest Contract which must be signed by that student’s building principal.
All forms can be found using the "Forms" link at left. Forms can also be obtained in Room 313 (Mr. Hoglen). These events will be supervised by Mr. Arlis Hoglen (email: Hoglar@ksd.org) as well as other adult volunteer chaperons.
The LAN Part attendance is $5 for normal admission or $8 if you require a school computer. Pre-paying before the event reserves a school computer for your own use. School computers are limited in number so Pre-Paying is important to insure you get a computer. Students are encouraged to bring their own computers.
Students are required to abide to the following guidelines:
- The Kennewick School District and Kamiakin High School are not responsible for any damages to a computer brought from home.
- The student is responsible for any damages that they may inflict upon school property.
- Students must obey Club Advisers, Adult chaperons, and LAN party staff.
- Access to the KSD/Kamiakin network is prohibited
- No use of profane language in any form.
Students must register:
- Parent Permission form
- Guest Contract
- Tournament Teams
There are no exceptions to this rule; the formsr must be completed if the student wishes to attend the LAN party.
- Titles rated Mature (M) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older and have the equivalent rating of a R rated movies. Titles in this category May contain mature sexual themes, more intense violence and/ or strong language. Halo 2 is rated M for Blood, Gore. Language and Violence.
- Titles rated Teen (T) Have content that may be suitable for persons ages 13 and older and have the equivalent rating of a PG-13 rated movies. May contain violent content, mild or strong language, and/ pr suggestive themes.
Parental discretion is advised.

Please visit Room 313 on Wednesdays at lunch for our meetings. This is where and when we decide everything you see above, if there is a game you would like to play at the LAN party that you do not see above please come to our meetings, your voice will be heard.
