Room 11: Third Grade, Mrs. Strong
Welcome to Third Grade!
I hope you’ve all had a relaxing and fun summer, I have. Here is a supply list to get you ready for the first day of school. See you soon!
The following items need to be labeled with your first and last name:
1 composition notebook (100 sheets, 200 pages)-These are the ones with the heavy cardboard cover, sewn through the middle, tape on the binding, usually black and white speckled
1 box of crayons—48 or smaller, larger boxes do not fit in student tubs
1 pkg. of 12 colored pencils
backpack
The following items become community property and do not need be labeled with your name. Over the years, I have found this assures the children have access to the supplies all year long rather than running out by October!
1 box gallon size Ziploc bags
3 tubs Clorox Bleach wipes or similar disinfectant wipes (Costco usually has the best price on these)
4 pink erasers
4 pkgs. of sharpened plain yellow #2 pencils
12 sharpened red lead pencils
3 glue sticks (the kind for pasting paper-not hot glue sticks)
The following items are NOT allowed:
3-ring binder
peechees or pocket folders
markers
gel pens
colored glue
personal pencils
other items which distract students from the learning environment
Looking forward to seeing you in the Fall!
