| I
graduated from BYU in 1983 with my degree in elementary and
special education. I continued with my education at UNLV to
receive my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My
continuing education has mostly been completed here in Washington
from many different universities.
I started teaching elementary school in Las
Vegas. Next, I taught as a middle school teacher at Horse
Heaven Hills, here in Kennewick. I moved to California where I taught two years
of high school. Now I am back in Kennewick. I taught at Lincoln
for three years as the resource teacher, now as a fourth
grade teacher.
I have enjoyed learning to integrate the fourth
grade curriculum with technology. I was privileged to be selected
for the Teacher Leadership Project for the 2001-2002 school
year. This opportunity afforded me a great deal of training
as well as new computers and equipment for my classroom.
I enjoy teaching school and being a mother
to my three daughters. I have a child at WSU, one
in high school school and one here at Lincoln. I am blessed with
wonderful students at school and delightful children at home.
