Mr. Linn enjoys fly-fishing and carpentry. He is married to his wife, Linda, who is a music teacher. They have two daughters, Hilary, who also teaches, and Hannah, who is a ballerina in New York.

Mr. Linn's favorite book is Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. His goal for his students is for them to grow and learn to their capacity, falling in love with books and exploring our world.
