Autism: Ms. Naomi Rogers

Ms. Rogers

Ms. Rogers enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, boating and hiking. She also enjoys spending time with her two cats.

Her favorite books are Tuesday and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. As a teacher of Autism, she enjoys working with lifeskills students.

Her goal for her students is to individually grow in the areas of communication, cognitive skills, social skills, fine and gross motor and self-help skills.

Parents should know that any notices or handouts that go home with a smiley face stamp in teh upper right corner is directly from Ms. Rogers. Open communication is the key between parents and Ms. Rogers to successfully educate students with Autism.

Remember, "Take one day at at time" and "A smile is the best gift to give another human being!"
