Mrs. Watts enjoys walking, knitting, gardening, waterskiing and snowskiing. She and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, Caitlin and Brooklynn.

She has many favorite books; too many to count! Eric Carle is her favorite children's author and illustrator. Her favorite subjects to teach are math and science.

Mrs. Watts's goals for her students are to become developed readers and to become life-long learners.

Mrs. Watts would like to remind parents of Kennewick School District's encouragement of all students to read at least 20 minutes each day. It's very important for parents to read with their child daily. Math homework is sent home on pink worksheets Monday through Thursday. Spelling tests will be given on Fridays.

Strong parent support will help your child be successful in first grade. Volunteers are greatly appreciated. Please contact Mrs. Watts if you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year.
