Hello, I'm Douglas Campbell principal of Lincoln Elementary,
home of the Leopards! It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school.
Lincoln Elementary currently serves 511 students in 18 regular education
classrooms and three special service classrooms.
Lincoln strives to provide a safe and caring learning environment
for each child where parents are partners in the educational process.
"Linking Learning to Life", our motto, guides our efforts
to help students develop into good citizens and life long learners.
Our school has high academic standards and provides its students
a diverse curriculum with an emphasis on literacy. Students learn
to read in a small group environment supported by our reading specialists,
paraeducators, community volunteers, and student building buddies.
Our commitment is to have students learn to read so they can read
to learn. |
| Lincoln is proud to support its students
with special needs. Our special education teachers, paraeducators
and classroom teachers work together to provide effective programs
for our Resource Room, Autism classroom, and two Life Skills classrooms.
Lincoln has tremendous parent support and a very active parent/teacher
organization. Lincoln Educators and Parents has been a generous
supporter of the needs of our school. We also have a high number
of parents who volunteer in classrooms and help support out Team
Read Program.
Lincoln has great students, an outstanding staff, and supportive
parents. You are welcome to stop by and visit us. |
