The Accelerated Reader program is designed to encourage students to read on their own. Students read books that have computerized tests available at Park and then take the test in their classroom. The tests are designed to measure comprehension only so a student should take the test as quickly as possible after finishing the book.

Point value for each book is determined by the length and difficulty of the book. The longer the length or higher the reading level, the more points the book is worth. The above index will direct you to the titles for which Park has tests. They are organized in alphabetical order and include the test number, the title, author, reading level and point value.
