Welcome to the Tri-Cities Area Educational Cooperative
The Tri-Cities Area Educational Cooperative (TAEC) is made up of the seven local school districts; Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, Columbia Burbank, Finley, Kiona-Benton and North Franklin. The TAEC is represented by the Career & Technical Education administrators and administrative staff of the cooperative.
The purpose of the TAEC is to develop a unified voice for Career & Technical Education in the region to support the initiatives relevant to CTE.
The TAEC provides:
- Support for educational legislative issues
- Coordination of CTE Advisory Committees
- Liaison to Business Industry folks on behalf of the Coop
- Media Coverage & Publicity
- In-Service Training for CTE Teachers
- Efficient use of Community Resources
