Curriculum

Core Knowledge
As a Core Knowledge School, Ridge View teaches a curriculum where core skills are built from year to year. This core knowledge helps children establish strong foundations on which they can build new knowledge. For example, there is no reason why first-graders cannot begin to learn basic information about electricity and the human body, or about ancient civilizations like Egypt and Mesopotamia. Core Knowledge curriculum encourages youngsters to acquire important and exciting knowledge at a time when they are eager to learn.
