Get Involved In PTO


PTO objectives:

Promote a working relationship and establish a means for effective communication between the parents, community, staff, and students of Ridge View Elementary.

Establish and provide a resource pool of individuals to assist in student and school programs.

Aid in the procurement of materials and educational aids for the direct benefit of the students of Ridge View Elementary.
Membership shall consist of parents, guardians and school staff. Individuals seeking membership must agree to support the above objectives of the PTO organization and subscribe to the by-laws of this organization.
Members in good standing have voting rights. “Good standing” is defined as a member who has participated in a PTO sponsored activity. Members shall be considered in good standing through September of the ensuing school year.
Involvement in PTO meetings is important to stay informed and have a voice in what PTO does each year. The yearly budget is voted on each September meeting by members in good standing, but decisions and suggestions for expenditures are discussed the previous year.
