I’ve been teaching at Cascade Elementary since 1999, and have taught 5th, 4th, and 2nd grades. My husband, Rick, and I have one son and daughter-in-law, along with our rat terrier, Milo.
Each student has a behavior sheet that goes home on Fridays, and should be returned on Mondays signed by a parent. Homework sheets are sent home on Friday, and should be returned on the following Friday with a parent signature.
My goal in teaching 2nd grade is to get every student reading on or above grade level. I love reading, and hope every one of my students ends up feeling the same way! We have fun throughout the year with science units on bats, changes, and butterflies.
