Southgate Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

 

 

For the safety of Southgate's students and staff, all volunteers, visitors and parents must sign in at the office and get a visitor badge.  This includes parents walking their child to class, going with their child to breakfast, taking homework or a lunch to their child, meeting with a teacher, etc.  Thank you for your cooperation!

 

 

  

Parents of 5th graders going into Middle School:  The Tdap is required for entry to middle school. Please let the school nurse know as soon as you have obtained this to update your student’s health card.

 

 

Please remember to call Southgate's attendance line by 9:00 a.m. at 222-5902 if your child will be tardy or absent.  Please leave your child's full name, room number, the date, and the reason for the absence.  You may also send a note to school with your child when they return.

• If you request homework when your child is out, please call first thing in the morning to give us time to get your child's homework ready.  Homework usually can be picked up in the office once requested at the end of the school day.  Please call before you come to the school to pick up homework to verify that it is waiting for you.

 

 

When picking your child up early for an appointment, please know that it may take us a few minutes to get your child for you depending on whether it is recess time, lunch time, or if students are in reading groups.  It is best to send a note to your child's teacher the morning you will be picking your child up early for an appointment to give the teacher a head's up.
