Why did you choose to join ignite?

Elizabeth Gramling- "I joined ignite so I can help the incoming freshman and make things easier for them."

 

Mentors participate in year-round leadership and mentorship training.  They make regular connections with freshmen both in and out of the classroom.  They also meet with them once a month.

Who are the mentors?
IGNITE mentors are juniors and seniors who are strong role models, who demonstrate leadership ability, teamwork, responsibility, and who stand out as individuals with much to give toward the development of young people. They represent a wide variety of groups at Southridge. Some are athletes, some are in leadership, some are in band, drama, debate or yearbook. But they all demonstrate potential - they are caring and make positive role models.
