Improve Literacy Skills in Math, Reading, Writing,
and Science for all students.
Schedule reading classes for ninth and tenth graders who are below grade
level based upon multiple data points.
Schedule reading class for juniors and seniors who do not meet Level
3 or 4 on the WASL by the end of their sophomore year.
Schedule Math Enrichment classes for students in Algebra and Geometry
that show below grade level achievement on multiple data points.
Math tutor center will be provided after school.
Reading support for tenth grade students in Integrated Science. Students
struggling with comprehension problems and fluency problems need support
with the volume of new science vocabulary and concepts.
Continue development of Learning Center to include both students who
have lost credits and students who have a need to access for alternative
learning options. We will seek to retain and graduate 95% of students
who enroll as freshmen four years later.
Learning Center will provide opportunities for students in credit retrieval,
SAT/ACT prep, GED prep, basic skills improvement, content area support,
peer tutoring, enrichment courses and activities, and contract learning.
