The
Air National Guard or ANG is a reserved component of the United States Air Force.
Locally here in Spokane, Washington . There are three ANG units, the 141st is
Air Refueling, 256th Combat Communication Squadron, and the third is 242nd Combat
Communication Squadron. Our mission is to provide ready units to the state on
three levels; the first level is the Federal role is to support national security
objectives, our State role is to protect life and property, and to preserve
peace, order and public safety, and our Community role is to participate in
local, state and national programs that add value to America.
