School Supplies List

Room 10 Third Grade

Dear Parents,

Your third grader will need the following school supplies…

_____ 12 sharpened pencils (Please replace during the year)

_____ 3 Ring Binder, 2”or 21/2” size (Your binder needs to

be sturdy, with 2 side pockets and easy to open.)

_____ 8 Binder Divider Sheets with colored tabs

_____ scissors (with pointed end)

_____ 2 pocket folders

_____ 3 PeeChee style folders with bottom pockets and 3

prongs

_____ 1 eraser

_____ 12 inch ruler (inches and cm.)

_____ 1 box of colored pencils (no markers, please)

_____ 2 zipper or Velcro pouches (try to select sturdy ones

which will last)

_____ 1 Spiral notebook (Wide ruled, at least 120sheets)

_____ 1 pencil box

_____ 1 box of crayons (16 or 24)

_____ 4 glue sticks

The following items will be shared by the classroom…

_____ 1 large box of Kleenex

_____ 500 sheets notebook paper (wide ruled)

In addition, if you are able to send any of the following items at any time during the year, it would be greatly appreciated!

Paw Point Store

Each week, we will be reading Time for Kids as part of our program. This weekly newspaper brings exciting new learning experiences to children. The cost is small, only $5.30 for the whole year. If you would like your child to have his own copy each week for the whole school year, please send the money to school in an envelope marked with your child’s name.

Please use the instructions for setting up your child’s notebook. Having the dividers labeled and in the notebook prior to the first day of school would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
