WELCOME TO 1st GRADE
IN ROOM 4!
SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
These supplies will be shared jointly by students and do NOT need your child’s name:
12 #2 YELLOW pencils (please sharpen!) We’re having
a lot of difficulty sharpening many brands of pencils with our class sharpener!
(Those that work best are Roseart pencils, Staples, and Ticonderoga, Papermate
and wood-looking ones.) If you could shop for these that would be greatly
appreciated! Thanks.
1 PINK eraser
4 glue sticks (no colored glue PLEASE!)
1 box Kleenex
1 container disinfectant/sanitizing wipes
Your child’s name is needed on each of the following
items:
A backpack (prefer one without wheels)
1 box of CRAYOLA crayons (24 count…no larger boxes please!)
1 pair of scissors (Fiskars are best!)
1 spiral bound notebook (wide ruled is best with about 70 pages)
1 folder (must be VINYL OR PLASTIC with inside BOTTOM pockets)
1 other folder (pee chee type with inside BOTTOM POCKETS) …any color or design
1 Steno-pad (approx. 6x9 inches—lined)
OPTIONAL CLASSROOM NEEDS:
additional glue sticks
sticky note pads
paper plates and/or napkins
Dry Erase markers
Snack items for that first month of school (Graham crackers, pretzels, Ritz
crackers, fruit snacks, granola bars, etc.)
Scotch tape
