Room 7 Supply List for 2007-2008

       SUPPLY LIST FOR ROOM 7

 

       So that we can meet each other and get your child’s supplies settled before the first day of school (August 28), room 7 is having a “Welcome Back To School Night” on Tuesday, August 27 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.  When you bring your child to school that evening, please bring the following supplies, marked with your child’s name.

 

    2 folders (with a “pocket” inside at the bottom)

 

    24 yellow pencils (regular size, #2 lead) ---sharpen at home if you can.

(Decorative pencils don’t sharpen well.  Yellow pencils work best:)

 

    2 pink erasers

 

    One 4-ounce bottle of WHITE Elmer’s school glue

 

    4 glue sticks

 

    2 spiral notebooks 

   

    1 box 16 count crayons (no more, please)

     

    1 pair of scissors

 

    1 pencil box (to hold supplies)

 

    Backpack or school bag (marked with child’s name and room number)

 

    1 large box of Kleenex

 

    1 refill package of “Glade Plug-ins” (to make our room smell pleasant:)

   

    1 large container of disinfecting wipes

 

    1 empty shoe box

 

    Since your child will be using his/her own supplies and caring for them, a pencil box is one way we can assist him in this process.  I’ll have a large zip lock bag for storing his extra supplies at school.  A backpack should come to school with your child every day to facilitate home-school communication. 

    Please try to attend the “Welcome To School” night on the 27th so we can meet and get your child settled before the first day of school. However, if you are unable to attend, please send the supplies with your child on the first day of school, August 28.  Thank you very much.  I look forward to meeting you and your child, as well as another exciting year, full of learning and fun!
