Our Early Childhood Education program teaches you about working with young Children. The program covers the developmental stages of pre-school children and how to create lessons and work with young children. The Tri-Tech Preschool is the only laboratory preschool in the Tri-City area. You will gain hands-on experiences with preschoolers in individual and group settings. Students can earn up to 15 college credits towards the Early Childhood degree at Columbia Basin College. In addition, students earn the 20 hour state STARs certificate.

Certification Opportunities: Progress towards Associates of Applied Arts and Science at CBC in Early Childhood Education, First Aid/CPR,  Food Handler permit, Blood Borne Pathogen training and STARS Certification

 

Pre-Requisites: Junior/Senior Standing, Successful screening by the Washington State Patrol
