Continuous Distance Learning

Now that the school building closure is extended through the end of the school year, Kennewick School District will continue to focus on a Continuous Distance Learning model, where teachers provide students with weekly learning plans.

Continuous Distance Learning focuses on critical core learning standards and learning activities that will help students progress in their learning and help them prepare for the next level.

Each school has its own Continuous Distance Learning page, with contact information for principals and teachers, plus ways to reach those educators and other important information about how to continue student learning during the school closure. Check out your school's page below.

In addition, the Kennewick School District will continue to offer a separate webpage with learning resources and links that may support the learning activities provided by your teacher or that parents may choose to utilize on their own. This webpage formerly was our weekly Family Learning Resources guide, and now has been incorporated into Continuous Distance Learning.

We've included a suggested daily schedule to help add some structure to your child’s learning routine.

Click on your desired grade level. Some of the links are available through Rapid Identity, which can be accessed using the following instructions: Rapid Identity help.

Parents of students who qualify for special education services, may utilize activities at any of the levels appropriate for their child. For more detailed assistance, please contact your child’s teachers or case manager. If you are not sure who that person is or how to contact them, you can contact Becca Anderson in Special Services at becca.anderson@ksd.org or (509) 222-6571.
