About Delta High School
Delta is a small, public high school for students living in the Kennewick, Richland and Pasco School Districts. Students are brought together from a variety of backgrounds to create one collaborative community. The faculty is dedicated to creating a highly-personalized, open and trusting learning environment for all students and their families. Students at Delta are supported by teachers, advisors and mentors that will network them into the local STEM community and beyond.
The elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are woven into every subject at Delta High School. The study of English Language Arts and Social Studies are integrated with STEM subjects. Students incorporate their learning and engage in inquiry, problem-solving, and project-based learning. The curriculum is rigorous and made relevant by intensive STEM community involvement.
Students at Delta learn together and from each other. They develop academic and personal skills by gaining an understanding of how they learn best, by working in teams and producing industry-grade individual outcomes.
