Chopping It Up at Tri-Tech
Students in Tri-Tech Skills Center's Culinary Arts program got a hands-on lesson in fruit and vegetable carving from a master.
Chef Ray Duey, who's created fruit carvings at the White House and demonstrated his skills on Food Network shows, led sessions this week.
"I hope that (students) learn to not be afraid. I hope they learn that they're part of team...and if I could instill in them to have passion for whatever it is they do in life, that would be my goal," he said.
