Register Now for Fall 2021 Online Learning

Kennewick School District will continue to offer options for families choosing online learning in the 2021-22 school year. Online registration is now available for students in grades K-12.

Current KSD students need to fill out the online School Transfer Form in PowerSchool. When indicating the school student is transferring to, select either Mid-Columbia Partnership (Grades K-8) or Endeavor High School (Grades 9-12). Click here for a guide to completing the form on the Parent Portal.

All new students to the district should create a new account in PowerSchool.

Students will continue to have access to athletics and extra-curricular opportunities at their boundary schools.

Grades 9-12
Endeavor High School uses the APEX Learning curriculum, which are courses built to state learning standards that meet high school graduation requirements.

Grades K-8
Partial or full online learning options will be available for students in grades K-8 through Mid-Columbia Partnership.

New Online Learning Options Coming in 2021-22

Kennewick School District will continue to offer fully online options for students in grades K-12 for the 2021-22 school year and beyond. Online learning provides opportunities for students to access curriculum and courses in a flexible learning environment. These online learning programs will be different than the options offered to students this year.

  • Curriculum and instruction will be fully online and computer-based.

  • Teacher case managers will supervise, monitor, assess and document student work and progress.
  • Students will have an individualized learning plan.
  • Students will have contact with their case manager at least once a week.

Grades K-8 Option
Partial or full online learning options will be available for students in grades K-8 through Mid-Columbia Partnership. New student registration and transfer information will be available online starting Monday, June 7 and information will be emailed to families.

New Online High School Coming Soon!
Students in grades 9-12 can enroll in KSD’s new online high school. The new high school will utilize the APEX Learning curriculum, which are courses built to state learning standards that meet high school graduation requirements. We are seeking naming ideas for the new online high school. A school naming committee will consider all ideas submitted and present a list of recommended options to the Kennewick School District Board of Directors at their June 23 meeting.
