Regional High School Activity Adviser of the Year for the Southeast Region

Congratuations to Matthew Luttrell from Kamiakin High School who has been honored as the AWSL Regional High School Activity Adviser of the Year for the Southeast Region! This prestigious award recognizes Matthew's exceptional commitment and talent in guiding and supporting our students.

Former Kamiakin High School student Janet Chavez shared, "He is an extraordinary, inspirational person. His hard work and dedication to creating a safe and welcoming place for students is beyond extraordinary. Mr. Luttrell has inspired many of his students to continue serving even after graduation."

Mr. Luttrell's dedication to his students extends far beyond the classroom. He has played a pivotal role in empowering students to pursue leadership opportunities, fostering a culture of growth and support.

Reflecting on his own experiences, Matthew states, "My growth as a leader was fueled by my own experiences... My leadership philosophy is fueled by all the ways other people have invested their confidence and support in me, and I try to mirror the ways I’ve received encouragement over the years back to my students."
