Ron Mabry
Ron Mabry was elected to the board in 2011 and 2019. His current term ends Dec. 31, 2023.
Ron believes that Kennewick educators today face a challenging test – how to advance academics in a time of increased enrollments and decreased funding. He also believes that the school board needs to be financially wise and committed to academic achievement. Ron cares deeply about the education of all children and will draw on his management experience and expertise to benefit both our schools and the taxpayers.
"As a member of the Kennewick School Board, I will personally reach out to parents and educators to make KSD the very best it can be for all our children."
Ron attended North Carolina A&T State University. He completed college while serving in the U.S. Navy. In 1998, he earned an MBA from City College in Seattle. He is presently a radiological engineer and facility manager with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Ron lives in Kennewick with his wife, Devon. Their two sons, Zack and Isaac, attended Kennewick schools.
