Kennewick School District uses PowerSchool as an online tool to view information on your child's school activity. View attendance, assignment, grade and schedule information, as well as pay school fees, load money onto lunch accounts and update emergency contact information. View multiple children through one PowerSchool account – even if the students attend different schools!
Kennewick School District is using Schoology, an integrated learning management solution that provides course management, mobile learning, and support for system-wide communication, for grades 3-12 during the 2021-22 school year. This is a change from last year when the district used Google Classroom.
Schoology enables our students, parents and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom
and beyond. We look forward to using Schoology in our classrooms starting September 1, 2021 to enhance connectivity and communication across our district.
With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, write academic blogs, and more. As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity
within the platform.
You and your child will be given login credentials on how to access the Schoology system. We value your participation
Student progress and activity will be monitored by faculty to ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment.
