About Superintendent Bond
Dave Bond has held the position of superintendent since 2008. He began working in the Kennewick School District in 2001 as the principal at Kamiakin High School and then as the assistant superintendent for secondary education.
Prior to joining Kennewick School District, Dave served the Richland School District from 1988 to 2001 as a teacher, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal at Hanford High School.
Dave earned his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Seattle Pacific University and his superintendent’s credential from Washington State University.
He and his wife Carmen are proud of their three adult children – all Kamiakin High School graduates. His son Josh is a graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy and is currently serving as a naval officer. His son Jeremy is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University in International Business and works in commercial banking. His daughter Jenny is a nurse and she and her husband Aaron are the parents of Dave and Carmen’s two grandchildren, Clive and Penelope.
