E-Flyer Requests (Peachjar)

Kennewick School District uses Peachjar to distribute approved electronic flyers from eligible nonprofit organizations and government entities to families. This process reduces paper waste, saves staff time and eliminates printing and distribution costs for schools.

Approved e-flyers are distributed electronically to parents and guardians unless they have opted out of receiving these communications.

Please do not bring flyers or other materials to schools for distribution or posting. School staff do not accept materials for outside organizations. All requests must be submitted through the district’s e-flyer process.

Who May Submit a Flyer?

Organizations eligible to submit materials include:

• Nonprofit organizations located in Benton or Franklin counties

• Government entities

• Kennewick School District schools and school-related partner organizations, such as PTOs, booster clubs and DECA chapters

Materials must provide social, recreational or educational value to students and meet district requirements.

Flyer Requirements

In addition to meeting Peachjar requirements, all flyers must:

• Clearly identify the sponsoring organization and provide contact information

• Include important details such as the date, time, location, registration information, participation or admission fees and registration link, when applicable

• Identify the availability of financial assistance or fee waivers, when applicable

• Provide information in both English and Spanish

• Be consistent with Kennewick School District policies and goals

• Comply with applicable federal and state laws

Materials That Will Not Be Approved

The district will not approve materials that:

• Promote commercial enterprises

• Proselytize or disparage a religion or religious belief

• Advocate violating laws, regulations, ordinances or district policies or rules

• Contain intimidating, demeaning, harassing or threatening language based on a protected class

• Are libelous

• Promote or oppose a political candidate or ballot proposition

• Are obscene, lewd or vulgar

• Interfere with the operation of a school or district program

Peachjar Community Free Flyers

Peachjar may cover the distribution fee for one Community Free flyer every 28 days for qualifying organizations promoting a free charitable program, service or resource that directly benefits children.

To qualify for Community Free distribution:

• The program, service or resource must directly benefit children and cannot require participants to meet eligibility qualifications.

• The flyer cannot be used to promote future fee-based programs, fundraising, donations or the purchase of products or services.

• The organization must not be nationally recognized and must physically reside Benton and Franklin counties.

• The organization cannot receive fees or revenue from vendors participating in the event.

Community Free submissions are limited to one flyer distribution to one school district every 28 days. Organizations wishing to distribute flyers more frequently or to multiple school districts may use Peachjar's standard paid distribution service.

Peachjar determines final eligibility for Community Free flyer distribution.

If you feel your event qualifies, please register as a community organization and access the Community Free Program application within your account.

District Review and Approval

Submitting a flyer does not guarantee approval. The superintendent or designee reviews submissions to ensure they meet district requirements.

Distribution of an approved flyer is provided as a community service to connect families with activities and resources that may benefit students. Approval and distribution do not constitute Kennewick School District endorsement or sponsorship of the organization, program, activity or event.

School and School-Related Organizations

Kennewick School District schools and school-related partner organizations, including PTOs, booster clubs and DECA chapters, may register for a fee-free Peachjar account to distribute school-related flyers. These organizations may also provide hard copies directly to families.
