Tri-Tech Skills Center Core Modernization Project
The Tri-Tech Skills Center Core Modernization Project is a $45.5 million state-funded project to modernize the original 66,000-square-foot section of the Tri-Tech facility built in 1981. The project includes infrastructure upgrades (electrical, plumbing, roofing, mechanical), energy and life safety improvements, and a reconfiguration of spaces to better support current programs and allow for potential future additions such as Pharmacy Tech and HVAC/Plumbing. Newer building additions from 2007 and 2020 will not be impacted.

Temporary Program Locations During 2025-26 School Year:
During construction, seven programs will temporarily relocate to off-campus sites including the Fruitland Building and Columbia Basin College.
- Fruitland Building (201 S. Garfield Street, Kennewick)
Early childhood education, dental assisting, digital arts and filmmaking and video game design
- Columbia Basin College V Building (Pasco)
Auto systems, diesel technology and welding technology
