KENNEWICK SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Board Meetings

Our community members are invited to attend board meetings either in-person or remotely on Zoom.

Due to COVID-19, the board room has a capacity limit to ensure six-foot distancing and in-person attendees must pre-reserve a seat. The reservation link is made available the Friday afternoon when the agenda is posted. Click on "Making A Reservation" below to reserve a spot. 

Public comment is offered at regular board meetings for those attending in-person and remotely. In-person attendees sign-up for public comment at the board meeting. Remote attendees sign up for public comment online beginning at 5:15 p.m.

If you need immediate assistance regarding a student, staff, educational or operational issue, you are encouraged to contact Superintendent Dr. Traci Pierce directly at traci.pierce@ksd.org or (509) 222-5020 with any feedback or specific concern. Most of the time issues can be resolved and addressed faster this way.

Policies & Procedures 

Board Policies are set by the School Board and impose legal requirements on the district and define the parameters within which district programs should operate. Policies normally go through a public reading and comment process before they are adopted or revised. Significant changes to policies require Board approval as does the adoption of new policies and the deleting of policies that have become obsolete or redundant.
