YMCA Child Care
YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities provides School-Age Child Care (before & after school) program to students in grades K-5 within elementary schools. The YMCA offers a variety of program options in order to accommodate different family schedules, including AM, PM, part-time and full-time.
YMCA child care sites are licensed by the State of Washington and accepts state subsidy (DSHS) payments and financial assistance is available to the extent possible through private donations. Space in the YMCA program is limited.

What if my child's school does not have a child care program?
If your child’s school does not have AM/PM Child Care, there is the option of having your child shuttled to and from their school to their assigned child care site
- Amon Creek Shuttle to/from Fuerza
- Hawthorne Shuttle to/from Edison
- Southgate Shuttle to/from Lincoln Elementary
- Sunset View Shuttle to/from Vista Elementary
- Washington Shuttle to/from Amistad, Cascade and Eastgate
A shuttle is not available for Westgate students at this time.
